Desert Encounters

A Virtual Education Series

The Sonoran Desert is a wondrous place. There is so much we can learn from the natural world and this unique desert habitat - about the wildlife that dwell here, the vegetation that can grow in such a harsh climate, the formation of the awe-inspiring foothills and mountains, and how prior generations of people lived in such a desolate place. While spending time in nature can be truly satisfying, learning more about our natural surroundings and the history can deepen our appreciation for it even more.

We hope you can learn from, and enjoy, these fun and informational virtual education offerings about the Sonoran Desert. We will continue to add to the Desert Encounters series, so check back often to discover more about our little piece of the world and why we should all care to protect it.
