It's our August Match!

We're excited to announce the launch of our August Match Challenge! This month, we're offering donors the opportunity to double their conservation impact through a generous matching gift program. Two anonymous donors have pledged to match all contributions received during the month of August, up to $25,000, effectively doubling every dollar donated.

The matching funds will support DFLT's mission to protect critical Sonoran Desert habitat, expand free educational programming, and preserve the cultural and historic legacy of the Desert Foothills region. The campaign aims to accelerate conservation efforts in an area known for its iconic saguaro cacti, diverse wildlife populations, and significant archaeological sites.

"This matching opportunity represents a unique chance for our community to make an extraordinary impact on desert conservation," said Vicki Preston, President and CEO. "Every donation, regardless of size, will go twice as far in protecting the landscapes and wildlife that define our region."

DFLT's conservation work focuses on habitat preservation for native species, including threatened desert wildlife, while providing educational opportunities that connect residents and visitors with the natural heritage of the Sonoran Desert. The organization's programs serve thousands of participants annually through guided hikes, free speaker series, and other community events.

Those who love our desert and want to help protect it can participate in the August Match Challenge by making donations online at dflt.org/give-today or by mailing checks to Desert Foothills Land Trust, P.O. Box 4861, Cave Creek, AZ 85327. All contributions received through August 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.
