Nancee grew up in rural Wisconsin. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and a law degree from Seattle University.
She has worked in legislative advocacy at both the federal and state level.
Twenty years ago, Nancee and her husband built a home in Cave Creek, and she found the joy of hiking in the desert. Needing to better understand all the things that make the Sonoran Desert so unique, she enrolled in the Land Trust’s Focus on the Foothills course. And the love affair began! Now, through Board service Nancee hopes to help ensure that others – especially those new to the desert – have the resources they need to appreciate the flora, fauna and seasonal changes that make the Sonoran Desert such a very special place.
