Vista Ridge Preserve

Vista Ridge Preserve protects 9 acres of pristine land in Carefree. It is dominated by a beautiful stand of large saguaros and mature ocotillos. A tributary of Grapevine Wash runs through the preserve. Javelina, deer and bobcat are regularly seen in the area.

The conservation easement on Vista Ridge protects a major hillside from development to the benefit of surrounding neighbors and ensures that the plants and wildlife will never be displaced. The easement was donated by Mark Stapp.
