Desert Foothills Land Trust presents the 9th annual Desert Discovery Day. A fun-filled day of adventure and educational activities in a natural desert setting. Discover the Sonoran Desert, learn about all its dwellers, past and present, and interact with native wildlife.
COVID-19 safety measures:
Pre-registration required, limited attendance, group limit of 10, social distancing protocol enforced, hand sanitizing/washing stations available, and face masks required for all attendees.
How to register:
Guests must register online or by phone prior to the event . Arrival times will be in 30 minute increments with a limit of 50 guests per time slot. All groups will be limited to 10 guests. Late arrivals will not be guaranteed entry.

*Jewel of the Creek Preserve is a natural desert setting. Desert Discovery Day takes place along the Harry Dalton trail which has a moderate rating, please click on the symbol to view our trail rating guide. The lower section of trail is not appropriate for strollers.
