Now that we've said goodbye to 2016 and hello to 2017, we look forward to a new year full of possibilities and opportunities. There is one thing that no matter what is happening in your life, or what is going on in the world around you that you can count on, that is nature. Hiking in the Sonoran Desert is a gift that we can give to ourselves. Whether joining a guided tour to the Cave of Cave Creek, or taking the family to the Jewel of the Creek, Desert Foothills Land Trust has given us the options of beauty throughout the desert. The efforts of DFLT are to preserve the landscape that we treasure in the valley. However, without the support of the community this is a trying and difficult task.
The cost of protecting the land is not a small one. A donation made to the Land Trust opens doors for new land to be purchased and protected. A gift will help us steward our lands in perpetuity.
