Please join us for our 6th annual "It's Art for Land's Sake" juried exhibit at Desert Foothills Library, 38443 N. Schoolhouse Road in Cave Creek. The exhibit and sale will open with a free reception, open to the public, on the evening of March 5. Complimentary wine* and hors d'oeuvres will be served as guests peruse the juror selected pieces in this intimate setting. The exhibit and sale will continue through March 19 during regular library business hours.

The exhibit is intended to promote land and wildlife conservation through traditional and representational works of art and to encourage art inspired by the lands and wildlife protected by the Land Trust. All selected entries are 2-D, original pieces that represents the landscape, plants and/or animals distinctive to a Desert Foothills Land Trust preserve.

We are excited to announce that this year's exhibit was judged by Meg Witwer, owner of the local art gallery, Adelante, located at the historic Spanish Village in Carefree. Adelante Gallery showcases paintings, sculpture and jewelry by local and international folk and fine artists. A featured gallery on CNN International's program "Art Club", Adelante just celebrated its 25th year as a business in our community!

(*wine service will be strictly restricted to guests 21 years of age or older; we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion)
