Peter recently retired after selling his consulting firm Burns & Associates. He is currently the President of his HOA in Carefree, serves on the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Public Safety Advisory Committee for the Town of Carefree, and is a member of both the Long Range Planning & Greens and Grounds Committees of the Pinetop Country Club.
Mary grew up in the Midwest and quickly acquired a love of nature and the outdoors. As a young girl, she spent time with her family hiking the Colorado Rockies and later as a teenager canoeing the lakes of Western Ontario. After moving to Arizona 5 years ago, Mary found Desert Foothills Land Trust to be one of her main passions.
Tina has been surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert for most of her life. She grew up in Tucson and has lived in the Desert Foothills area for 25 years. She is pleased to get more deeply involved in the Land Trust’s conservation work and is focused on connecting people, especially children, to nature.
After 35 years in Banking and Brokerage on Wall St., he retired to Arizona in 1999. In 2004 he and his wife build a house in Cave Creek. Reg is currently President of the Desert Creek HOA and also serve on the Board of Wild At Heart and the Cave Creek Museum, and volunteers at several not for profit organizations in Town.
Raised in Dayton, Ohio, Bill is a graduate of Princeton University and Northwestern Business School. He has been an active volunteer for the Land Trust enjoying leading hikes and relating the interesting history of the Desert Foothills. Bill believes in and supports the mission of the Desert Foothills Land Trust
Ever since retiring and moving to Carefree in 2012, Alan has enjoyed hiking Spur Cross. When his three adult children visit, it's one of their favorite family activities, For decades, Alan has also enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially fly fishing and wing shooting, and he looks forward to exploring what Arizona has to offer.
