Many of the plants you see in the Sonoran have a long history of medicinal use. Plant expert Diane Vasily share’s her knowledge of some interesting uses and remedies made from plants found right outside your door.

Founded in 1989 the C.B.D has helped protect more than 288 endangered species and won designation of 38 million acres as critical habitat areas. A.J. Schneller will give an update on the important work of the Center protecting biodiversity here in Arizona.

May 19, 2004  Spur Cross Conservation Area: An inside look

There is more to Spur Cross than just hiking and enjoying the beauty of the desert foothills. Conservation Area Supervisor John Gunn gives an inside look at some of the current natural resource management actions as well as goals for the future of the Conservation Area.
